Some of our October fun trips. We took a mini-family vacation a couple weeks ago to the Newport Aquarium and the Louisville Science Center, and just today, I went with Meg's preschool to the local pumpkin farm. Good fall fun.
Touching starfish and horseshoe crabs in the Newport Aquarium.
Hubby got this beautiful shot of some tropical fish. It's now my desktop pic.
The red-bellied pirahnas.
A huge alligator snapping turtle--they can live up to 175 years.
Zoe liked these fish.
Jaws! I loved watching the sharks swimming right over our heads while walking through the glass tunnels.
Our family pic at the Newport Aquarium--by the huge humpback whale statue.
Megan making herself into a bubble. First thing we did at the Louisville Science Center.
Zoe plays at the water table--great little area just for little kids.
Dad and daughter checking out gears before leaving the Louisville Science Center.
My hubby discovered a new talent--amazing, huh? :D
Here we are at the pumpkin patch farm, learning about how farmers grow wheat, corn, soybeans, and pumpkins and how they're used.
I like this shot. Out in the soybean maze, saying the pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
Barely got Meg in the hay maze--she kept running from me.
Many of the class were here for pics. "Buddy" is the only one posing well. Meg was grumpy, so I only got a sideways shot.
Full time wife, mom of three (4 if you count my husband), and author of the Tallenmere series of fantasy romance. It's a crazy life, but I wouldn't trade if for the world.
